Our approach
Assessing the practical situation
Waterkracht first drew up a conceptual layout in which all components could be positioned logically. The starting point was a one-to-one replacement, so that operators would immediately be familiar with the new installation.
Engineering and frame design
An offshore-certified frame was then designed and built, in which all components are optimally integrated.
The installation included, amongst other things:
- a stainless steel pump head;
- stainless steel water-cooled components;
- a safety system for diesel engines;
- a proven pump and drive configuration that is compatible with the existing application.
During the engineering phase, additional requirements were taken into account, including:
- integrated storage options;
- a drip tray for safe and organised working.
Testing and inspection
The entire installation was tested and inspected prior to handover. Following approval, the installation was authorised for use without any further modifications.
