The plunger pump has a chemically nickel-plated 420 stainless-steel pump head, and stainless-steel valves with a plastic cage. The spherical valves generate better through-flow, and therefore less noise. Furthermore, these valves close better, because they contact the seat in a different place every time. This pump has fully ceramic plungers with water-cooled packing seals. The pump has an over-sized gear system with splash lubrication and has a maximum permissible water temperature of 55 °C. Due to a special patented (high-quality aluminium) crankcase design, the oil temperature is 10° to 15 °C lower. The connecting rods are made of high-quality aluminium alloy which can withstand extremely high loads. Due to the choice of materials, this pump has a very low level of wear.
